Major Project- Digital Storytelling [The French Revolution]

Hello Again! This is a short movie I created using Windows Live Movie Maker. I am very pleased with how it came out! It is a short recount of the French Revolution, including causes, major events, King Louis XVI, and affects. This could easily be used as a cross-curricular project in my French Class to tie in what students are learning in Global History. Also, it would be a nice leading point into culture and Mireille Matthieu, the famous French singer of the La Marseillaise, the French National Anthem.

Popplet Concept Map

This is a concept map that I made as a review activity in a level 1 French class. It reviews the 3 main groups of verbs in French.  It reminds the students of what the endings are, and gives an example of how to conjugate the verbs in a full sentence in the present tense. I would love to use this with my class.

Glogger

For this unit of French instruction I decided to do the conjugation of regular -ER verbs.  The video shows how to conjugate an ER verb, and the vocabulary is separated into activities by section.  After reviewing this unit, students will be able to answer the question "qu'est-ce que tu aimes faire?"  The following unit aligns with the National Standards for Foreign Language Learning.  [Standards 1.1, 1.3, 4.1]

Hello Everyone! This board is from my personal pinterest account. I have found many helpful resources on pinterest which are very helpful in the classroom. This board is dedicated to the French language learning classroom. I am a high school teacher, so my board is mainly geared towards high school, but many of the resources can work with younger students as well. Hope you enjoy!!!
